MyRounders Terms & Conditions

By registering or playing in a MyRounders fixture, taster, event or coaching session you accept these Terms & Conditions in full.


1. Our Responsibilities and Your Protection

1.1 We provide our services with reasonable care but MyRounders is not liable for any indirect special or consequential losses.
1.2 W
e cannot limit liability for death or serious injury caused by our negligence.
1.3 You agree to release MyRounders and related parties from claims arising out of negligence to the fullest extent allowed by law.


2. Playing Safe and Taking Responsibility

2.1 Rounders involves inherent risk. By participating you accept these risks in full.
2.2 You must act responsibly follow all safety instructions and not participate if unwell or under the influence of non-prescribed substances.
Pregnant participants may only play if in receipt of a doctor’s letter confirming fitness to play which remains valid for the stated term.
2.3 You must consult a doctor if in doubt about your fitness to play.


3. Registering Your Team

3.1 Captains are responsible for their team’s conduct registration and payments.
3.2 We may refuse or remove any player team or organisation at our discretion.

3.3 Once a team registers for a season the full season fees are due and payable in full irrespective of whether the team continues to participate withdraws or is removed for misconduct or non-payment.
3.4 Teams are automatically registered into the next season unless they opt out at least two weeks before the final fixture.


4. Age Restrictions

4.1 Participants must be aged 16 or older.
4.2 Captains must confirm all team members meet this age requirement.


5. Fees, Cancellations and Forfeits

5.1 All payments are made via our online system—cash BACS or cheques are not accepted.
5.2 If a team fails to pay in time the match is recorded as a 10-0 forfeit and they may also be liable for the opposition’s match fee.
5.3 Two forfeits in one season may lead to removal from the league.
5.4 Failure to attend without notice may result in the team being removed and s
till responsible for remaining fees.
5.5 Where possible cancelled matches will be rescheduled. If this is not possible MyRounders may offer a credit against future games at its discretion.

5.6 In the event of a forfeit the non-forfeiting team must still attend pay and play a friendly match in order to be awarded the 10-0 result. Player of the Match (POTM) and Fair Play awards will also be applied as normal.
5.7 The team captain is always personally liable for the full match fees regardless of whether individual team members contribute. Captains must ensure the fee is paid in full on time and are responsible for collecting money from their team afterwards. Non-payment by players does not remove the captain’s liability.
5.8 Matches will be automatically cancelled if an Amber Weather Warning is issued by the
Met Office for the local area.
5.9 Yellow Weather Warnings will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Games are played on all-weather pitches so cancellations will only be considered for reasons of travel safety or umpire availability.
5.10 Refunds will not be issued for weather-related cancellations. In such cases fixtures will be paused and resumed at the next scheduled match date.


6. Leaving the League or Season Early

6.1 By entering a league or season teams commit to the full duration and full fees for that season.
6.2 Teams who withdraw are expelled or fail to complete the season remain liable for all outstanding and future fees due for that season.
6.3 No refunds or reductions will be given for teams leaving early regardless of the reason.

6.4 Where any fees remain unpaid MyRounders reserves the right to begin a debt recovery process against the team captain. This may include referral to a professional debt collection agency or legal proceedings. In such cases the captain will be liable not only for the outstanding fees but also for any reasonable costs interest and charges incurred by MyRounders in recovering the debt. Non-payment may also affect the captain’s personal credit rating.


7. Safeguarding & Supervision of Minors (Aged 16–17)

7.1 MyRounders is committed to providing a safe environment for all participants. However participants aged 16 or 17 must be supervised at all times by a parent legal guardian or responsible adult (the “Supervisor”) during matches training and any official MyRounders activity.
7.2 The Supervisor must be present in the venue for the entire duration of the event and be contactable in case of emergency or incident.
7.3 The Supervisor is responsible for supporting the 16- or 17-year-old’s adherence to all rules behaviour standards safety instructions and reporting any concerns or incidents to MyRounders or relevant officials immediately.
7.4 MyRounders will maintain a safeguarding policy and reporting procedure accessible to all participants and Supervisors and will respond to any reported concern in line with applicable local authority procedures.
7.5 In the event MyRounders reasonably believes a minor is unsupervised or the Supervisor is absent or uncooperative MyRounders reserves the right to refuse that minor’s participation in the activity or require immediate removal.


8. Mental Health Ambassadors

8.1 Each MyRounders league will have an assigned Mental Health Ambassador (MHA).
8.2 MHAs will hold an up-to-date DBS check and if no parent guardian or responsible adult is available may act as a temporary supervisor for a 16–17-year-old participant.
8.3 The role of an MHA is to provide signposting only. They are not qualified to provide counselling therapy or clinical support.
8.4 MHAs can only be contacted via the designated email address provided by MyRounders.
8.5 Any safeguarding concerns raised with an MHA will be handled in line with MyRounders’ safeguarding procedures.


9. Health, Kit and Equipment

9.1 No jewellery (other than a wedding ring or medical alert bracelet which must be taped) or any dangerous adornment may be worn.
9.2 Wear suitable clothing and securely tied shoes—no delays allowed for adjustments.
9.3 Play entirely at your own risk — MyRounder
s does not provide personal injury insurance.
9.4 Captains must assess playing conditions and raise concerns.


10. Photos, Videos and Data

10.1 MyRounders may take and use photos/videos for promotion. If you do not want your image used inform us upon registration.
10.2 By joining as an individual you agree your contact info may be shared with other players to form teams.
10.3 Data is handled per the MyRounders Privacy Policy and applicable laws.


11. Franchise and Third-Party Leagues

11.1 These Terms & Conditions apply equally to all MyRounders leagues tournaments and events including those delivered by licensed partners franchisees or third-party operators under the MyRounders brand.
11.2 Participants in such leagues remain bound by these Terms & Conditions as if the league were directly operated by MyRounders.


12. Player Transfers and Registrations

12.1 Player transfers must be approved by MyRounders. Transfers may be refused if the player has any outstanding fees or other obligations. All transfers must comply with the MyRounders Team Rules.
12.2 Unauthorised transfers may result in suspension of the player or team or a 10-rounder reduction in the team’s score.
12.3 Player registrations must be completed and approved by MyRounders before participation. Unauthorised registrations may result in suspension of the player or team or a 10-rounder reduction in the team’s score.


13. Venue Rules and Alcohol

13.1 Participants must follow all venue rules including restrictions on food drink and alcohol.
13.2 Breaches may result in suspension or removal from the league.

13.3 Any participant deemed under the influence of substances will be asked to leave a fixture or possibly asked not to play at all that day.


14. Complaints Process

14.1 Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the incident. A reply will be sent after 48 hours, but within 7 days. Any umpiring queries please use umpires@myrounders.co.uk and other queries please send to hello@myrounders.co.uk.


15. Intellectual Property and Trademarks

15.1 The MyRounders name logo kit designs slogans and other branded materials are protected intellectual property. They may not be copied reproduced or used in any form without prior written permission from MyRounders.
15.2 MyRounders® is a registered trademark UK
00004187390 Any unauthorised use of this trademark is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
15.3 Participants teams or third parties must not produce or sell merchandise kits or promotional materials using the MyRounders name or logo without written approval.
15.4 Content created by MyRounders including photographs videos and written materials remains the property of MyRounders and may not be reused without permission.


16. Respecting the Game

We want everyone to enjoy rounders in a safe fair and supportive atmosphere. Respect for others is at the heart of MyRounders.

16.1 All attendees must behave respectfully—players captains spectators umpires—both on and off the pitch including in online spaces. Everyone is expected to follow the MyRounders Code of Conduct
16.2 Umpires’ decisions are final.
16.3 MyRounders may issue warnings suspensions or expel players/teams for misconduct.
16.4 Fielding a suspended player leads to a 10-0 forfeit and liability for the opposition’s fee.
16.5 Captains must remind their teams of these standards and help uphold a positive environment.


17. Other Important Information

17.1 We may subcontract or assign responsibilities without notice.
17.2 We are not liable for performance delays caused by “Force Majeure” (e.g. severe weather venue closure government orders).
17.3 These T&Cs are the full agreement and supersede prior representations.
17.4 Governing law: England & Wales. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of its courts.
