MyRounders Cyberbullying Policy
Introduction:
MyRounders is committed to providing a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all players, regardless of skill level, background, or personal beliefs. We believe that sportsmanship extends beyond the field and includes respectful online interactions. This policy outlines our expectations for acceptable online behaviour and the consequences of cyberbullying.
What is Cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature. It can include:
- Personal attacks, insults, or hurtful comments directed towards players, coaches, officials, or anyone involved in the league.
- Harassment through repeated messages or threats.
- Sharing private information without someone's consent.
- Creating fake accounts to spread negativity.
- Using derogatory or discriminatory language.
- Sharing images without a persons consent
Expectations:
All players, captains, officials, and supporters of MyRounders are expected to:
- Treat everyone with respect, both online and offline.
- Be mindful of the impact your words can have on others.
- Avoid using offensive or threatening language.
- Uphold the values of sportsmanship and fair play.
- Report any instances of cyberbullying to league officials immediately.
Consequences:
MyRounders takes cyberbullying seriously. Any violations of this policy will be investigated and may result in disciplinary action, including:
- Warnings
- Suspension from games or the league
- Public reprimand
- Financial or fixture penalties
- Reporting to relevant authorities

If you experience or witness cyberbullying, please report it immediately to:
