We’re excited to share that MyRounders has been

featured by the National Institute for Sport & Health (NISH)

, recognising our commitment to making sport social, simple and inclusive for adults across Wales.

'MyRounders was created to offer fun, low-pressure opportunities for people aged 16+ to be active. With mixed and women’s leagues running in Swansea and beyond, we welcome players of all backgrounds, abilities and fitness levels — with a strong focus on enjoyment, connection and community.

Since launching in 2022, the impact has been remarkable. Participants tell us they’ve gained confidence, made new friends and rediscovered their enthusiasm for physical activity. For many, it’s not just about the game — it’s about belonging.

One challenge we continue to tackle is changing perceptions of sport. Many adults associate sport with competition or past experiences at school. MyRounders aims to show that activity can be relaxed, welcoming and inclusive, and that taking the first step is the hardest part.

Our membership with NISH has been invaluable in supporting this mission. Through the network, we’ve connected with partners who share our vision for accessible movement and community wellbeing. We’re now exploring how collaboration with NISH can help us better understand and demonstrate the wellbeing benefits of social sport.

          As Julie says:

“A simple, social game can make a huge difference to wellbeing and inclusion, and we’re excited to continue growing that impact with support from NISH.”

With over 370 teams across 38 leagues in Wales, MyRounders continues to grow — and we’re excited for what comes next.

Community Spotlight: Courage, Compassion and Community

Earlier this month, the nation paused to mark Remembrance Sunday — a time to honour courage, sacrifice and togetherness. Across the country, people came together to reflect on those who have served, those who continue to serve, and the everyday acts of bravery that strengthen our communities.

Here at MyRounders, we’re proud to shine this month’s spotlight on one of our own: Lance Corporal Jamie Hastie, a MyRounders community member who plays across several of our teams.

Jamie served with the Yorkshire Regiment, and his story is one of remarkable bravery and selflessness. While deployed in Afghanistan, he was seriously injured by an improvised explosive device (IED). Despite his own wounds, Jamie immediately turned his attention to helping his injured section commander, providing life-saving first aid and helping carry him to safety through extreme danger.

For his actions, Jamie received the Queen’s Commendation for Bravery, a national honour awarded to those who demonstrate exceptional courage and commitment to others.

As we look back on this month of remembrance, we’re reminded that bravery takes many forms, sometimes on the front line, sometimes in quiet moments and sometimes in the way we show up for each other.

Jamie’s story is not only a tribute to the strength and resilience of our armed forces but also a reminder that courage and compassion live among us every day. We are incredibly proud to have Jamie as part of the MyRounders community and thank him and all those who serve, for their commitment and courage.

Meet the MyCommunity Rounders Chair - John Lowes

Introducing John Lowes our MyCommunity Rounders Chair. John joined as a player in January 2023 with wife Sarah Waite and hasnt looked back, signed to many teams and captains an all male team in the mens rumble league. John leads the board with warmth and determination, hoping to encourage others to gain from the game of rounders, as he has. Heres what John had to say :

What inspired you to join the MyCommunity Rounders board?

For me, rounders isn’t just a sport—it’s something much bigger. Sure, it gets people moving, but what really stands out is how it brings people together. The rounders community is amazing, and I’ve seen firsthand the social and health benefits it offers, but I also saw that not everyone could access that experience. Whether it’s cost, age, disability, or health issues, there are real barriers that stop people from joining in. MyCommunity Rounders is all about breaking those barriers down, and I wanted to be part of that—helping others find the same connection that I have.

In your role as a board member, what impact are you most hoping to make?

I want to help build strong foundations for the organisation—especially around funding and governance—so we can keep growing and making a difference. It’s about making sure we’re not just doing good work now, but setting things up so that we can keep doing it for years to come.

How do you see MyCommunity Rounders growing or changing over the next few years, and what excites you most about that?

I think we’re going to see MyCommunity Rounders reach more places and more people. What excites me most is seeing rounders being played by everyone—kids in schools, older adults in walking rounders groups, and people with disabilities in adapted sessions. Plus, I’m sure we’ll see more people joining our small group of volunteers as there’s already loads of opportunity but not enough of us to do it all!

If you could achieve one legacy or lasting outcome from your time on the board, what would it be?

I’d love to help make MyCommunity Rounders a recognised name across the country for inclusive sport. If, in a few years, rounders is being played in schools and community centres all over Wales and beyond—and people of all abilities are getting involved and loving it—I’ll be proud to have been part of the team that helped make that happen.

From One Rounders Bat to 9000 Registered Players: How MyRounders Sparked a Sporting Movement in South Wales

When Julie moved to Neath on the very day lockdown began, life looked very different. A qualified relationship therapist with a sporting background she had hoped to explore her new community, meet people and find a new rhythm for her young family. Instead the world shut down.

“For 18 months I built my therapy practice online” she recalls. “But I missed the camaraderie of team sport. Sport had always been my lifeline and I could see through my therapy room just how isolated people had become. Many had lost vital social skills, there was a lot of grief and people were not sure how to socialise anymore. I wanted to help bring people back together.”

At first she joined a walking group and casually asked if anyone fancied a game of rounders. The timing was not right, as it was the year of Welsh firebreaks and restrictions meant it never got off the ground. But the seed had been planted.

           One Post 152 People

In September 2022 Julie phoned her local leisure centre, Aberavon Leisure Centre to ask if they had any free evenings. They told her Sundays were quiet. She took a chance posted in two Port Talbot Facebook groups and waited.

“I turned up with one bat and one ball” she laughs. “I thought a handful might come but 152 people arrived. I was shocked, excited and completely unprepared. I did not even know all the rules so I just glued something together.”

That night was the start of something extraordinary. Within weeks Julie had created a logo, branded the concept of social adult rounders leagues as MyRounders, drafted a friendlier version of the rules “I found the official ones a bit ruthless” and launched the first official Social Rounders Rules.

By November 2022 the first league began in Port Talbot with eight teams. By January another division of eight was added. Soon after, a twelve team league launched in Gowerton. What started as one Facebook post had become a fast growing community movement.

           Momentum That Did Not Stop

Nearly three years later MyRounders now boasts over 9000 registered players across South Wales stretching from Llanelli to Newport and everywhere in between. More than 350 teams play each week through the year, both indoors and outdoors.

The model has diversified too. Alongside mixed leagues, there are now women only leagues, the first men only league in rounders history. Families play side by side “In one team in Pontardawe we have four generations of one family” Julie says. “Our eldest player is 74. We have got mums playing against sons, brothers playing alongside sisters. No other sport offers that kind of connection.”

The playing standard has also grown. A select side of MyRounders players travelled to England to face experienced English teams and won. “We came away unbeaten against English sides and travelled to Leicester for the finals, where we lost in the final, but it was a great day and a wonderful achievement” Julie grins.

Recognition has followed. In 2025 MyRounders won the Welsh Sports Associations Women and Girls Award for Best Sporting Initiative, cementing its reputation as one of the most exciting grassroots sport stories in Wales.

           Lives Changed by Rounders

For Julie though it is the human stories that matter most. “There is one player Kelly Carr who reversed her diabetes after joining. Then there is Jane Maguire. She had lost her father and was in a deep place of grief. She joined rounders just to get out of the house and it gave her a reason to interact again. She is now a League Coordinator an umpire and one of our leaders. That is the kind of impact rounders has had, it changes lives.”

She pauses before adding “That is what I am most proud of. It is not about scores or stats it is about people finding their confidence, their community and a reason to connect.”

More Than a Sport A Movement

What makes rounders so powerful, Julie believes, is its accessibility. “A lot of our players either hated PE at school, never played team sport or have not set foot in a leisure centre for years or maybe at all. Rounders is nostalgic welcoming and easy to play, it has the core basic physical skills of catching, throwing and batting. It is about fun first but it also gets people active without even realising it.”

That mix of nostalgia, inclusivity and social connection has turned MyRounders into more than just a league system.

“It is a movement” she says firmly. “The demand has been incredible and now we want to franchise the model so other communities can benefit in the same way South Wales has. I honestly still pinch myself this started, with one bat, one ball and a Facebook post. Now it is giving thousands of people their lives back.”

In partnership with Safer Neath Port Talbot and South Wales Police, MyRounders had the pleasure of bringing our favourite sport to the heart of the community once again. The day was about so much more than rounders, it was about raising awareness of local services, creating connections, and bringing people and groups together through sport, laughter, and a real sense of community spirit.

This project is more than sport — it’s about giving young people a place to belong. A place

to feel safe, seen and supported. A place where laughter, teamwork, and confidence grow

We were proud to honour members of our community who go the extra mile – whether that's League Coordinating, Umpiring, leading training sessions in their area, championing the sport within their teams, or shouting loudly about MyRounders at every opportunity. It was a night to spotlight the people who have found their passion in Rounders and help grow the game from the ground up. We also gave some special awards to teams that stand out for their fair- play on the pitch, and for their wicked sense of humour on social media.

Back in December 2024, our very own CEO Julie and Social Media Manager Amy were invited to join the brilliant Riff Room Podcast in Port Talbot, and what a chat it was! We sat down with two cracking lads Scott and Shaun, who were genuinely curious (and hilarious!) about all things MyRounders.

From the early days of launching in 2022 to the exciting growth across Wales, with 26 leagues and over 6,000 registered players (December, 2024) —they asked us some fantastic questions. One of the hosts, proudly wearing a 'Bryn it On' cap (his girlfriend’s team), had a personal connection to the positive impact rounders has had on women in the community. We laughed about some of the cheeky team names and had a heartfelt discussion about how hard it is to make new friends as adults. But that’s where social rounders shines - bringing people from all walks of life together through fun, friendship, and a shared love of the game. Teams have gone from strangers to travel buddies, from teammates to real life support systems. It’s a beautiful thing to witness, and we're so grateful for platforms like 'Riff Room Podcast' that help share our story.

We cover some seriously funny topics (you’ll definitely get a laugh!), but also dive into the heart of what MyRounders is really about - connection, community, and the happiness of playing a sport. Since that chat back in December, we’ve grown even more, now with over 8,000 registered players across Wales!

While most take part in our vibrant mixed leagues, something we’re especially proud of is the rise of our women’s only leagues. These incredible spaces bring together women of all ages and abilities to play, support each other, and just have fun every single week. It’s honestly amazing to see, and we can’t wait for what’s next.

We’re thrilled to announce that our incredible founder, Julie, has been nominated for the 2025 Pinc List – a celebration of the most influential LGBTQ+ people in Wales!

Now in its tenth year, the Pinc List – curated with the support of Pride Cymru – shines a light on individuals who are making a powerful difference across Welsh communities. From national campaigners to local changemakers, it’s a who's who of trailblazers and leaders, and we’re so proud to see Julie recognised among them.

           Championing Inclusion Through Sport

Julie launched MyRounders with a clear mission: to build a fun, social, and welcoming environment where LGBTQ+ adults can feel free to play, belong, and connect. What began as a grassroots idea has quickly grown into one of Wales’ most exciting community sport movements.

Over the past year alone, MyRounders has grown from 6,000 to over 8,000 registered players, with leagues expanding across Swansea, Cardiff, Barry, Bridgend, and beyond.

“At its heart, MyRounders is all about community,” says Julie. “Sport hasn’t always been inclusive for LGBTQ+ people, but we’re changing that – one game at a time.”

From training inclusive umpires, to launching confidence and building coaching clinics, Julie and the MyRounders team are redefining what sport can look like when diversity and representation lead the way.

Julie’s nomination comes at a time of huge progress for LGBTQ+ visibility in Wales and marks the 40th anniversary of the first Pride march in Wales. With more inclusive groups forming across the nation – even in its most rural areas – and vibrant Pride events growing every year, Wales is becoming a beacon of hope for equality and inclusion.

This year’s Pinc List also celebrates the community’s achievements in sport, including the successful bid to host EuroGames Cardiff 2027 – an international LGBTQ+ multi-sport festival.

Congratulations to our 'Gaffa' and everyone who made this year’s Pinc List. Your dedication, courage, and leadership are changing lives – on and off the field!

On Thursday, the MyRounders team had the incredible honour of attending the 2025 WSA Sports Industry Awards, having been shortlisted for Best Initiative to Promote Women in Sport and Physical Activity. We applied for the award earlier this year, with the support of a powerful, heartfelt evidence video put together by the amazing Kelly — thank you, Kelly, for helping us tell our story so beautifully.

We were already beyond proud to have made it to the shortlist. To be recognised alongside so many inspiring organisations and individuals doing brilliant work in women’s sport was an achievement in itself.

          But then… we won.

          And we were completely stunned.

Our reaction as a team says it all — total shock, huge smiles, and maybe a few happy tears. Walking up to the stage together, hearing the cheers and applause from a room full of people who truly get what grassroots sport is all about, was something we’ll never forget. The energy, the support, the shared celebration — it was overwhelming in the very best way.

The evening itself was incredible. We connected with so many amazing people, businesses, and charities — all united by a shared passion for the power of sport and community. Just being in that room was an honour.

Reflecting on how far we’ve come in such a short time is surreal. Just over two years ago, we were welcoming 150 people to play rounders at a local sports centre. Today, MyRounders has over 8,000 registered players across Wales. We’ve grown into a thriving, supportive, and fun community — one where women of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities come together each week to laugh, move, play, and reconnect with the joy of sport.

This award is a celebration of that journey. Of the people who turn up, week after week. Of those who give rounders a try for the first time in years. Of everyone who’s found friendship, fitness, and fun through our league.

So from all of us at MyRounders — thank you.

Thank you for being part of something special. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for building this with us.

Bringing Rounders to Kenya: Sport, Smiles and Sustainability

In April, I had the privilege of returning to Kenya for my second visit to the Giriama Tribe near Bore. I travelled with a dedicated group of volunteers from the Climate Shops based in Carmarthen, Lampeter, and Aberystwyth. This inspiring initiative focuses on raising funds to plant trees, create sustainable employment, and improve the lives of some of the world’s poorest communities. Their mission not only supports people on the ground, but also contributes to the global fight against climate change—using nature’s fastest-growing, carbon-absorbing machines: trees.

Having visited the Giriama community once before, I was already aware of how kind, welcoming and grateful the children are. This time, I wanted to give something a little different—something fun, active, and long-lasting. So I decided to bring rounders equipment, thanks to the generous support of Julie and the MyRounders team, along with additional donations that allowed me to purchase more kit.

The reaction was beyond anything I expected. The children—and even many of the adults—absolutely loved the game. Their speed, power, and natural skill were incredible to watch and genuinely humbling. They took to rounders with such enthusiasm and energy that it quickly became clear we’d sparked something special. I’m hopeful that by the next time I visit, there’ll be a well-formed little team ready and waiting for a rematch!

We didn’t just donate the equipment to the local community—we also gave sets to nearby schools, where teachers plan to use it in PE lessons to build fitness, teamwork, and confidence. Rounders is a brilliant sport for areas with limited resources: all you really need is a bat and a ball. While I brought cones along to mark the pitch, they weren't needed—cleverly, the children used stones and water buckets instead. Resourceful and determined, just like always.

What’s so special is that rounders, a sport that brings people together here in Wales, is now bringing joy and unity to children and families thousands of miles away in Kenya. It’s creating bonds, building skills, and offering moments of pure happiness. Seeing the impact of something so simple was truly incredible—and just another reminder of how powerful sport can be.

Natalie had been one of 30 players selected by MyRounders founder Julie to make up three teams that would travel to Malvern. There were dedicated training sessions, where she told us she learnt lots about her own playing style, helping her realise strengths and weaknesses of her game. Representatives from Rounders England attended some of these training sessions to help players understand some of the different rules when playing under Rounders England.

           Rule Differences

Natalie told us about some rules that were different to the way MyRounders play.

           1. Backward Hit- First Base Only

With MyRounders, this means that if you hit the ball backwards you can only run to first base, you can not move any further until the next player bats. >>>>>>>> In Rounders England rules, as soon as the ball crosses forward over the backwards line, it is back to ‘live play’ and the batter can continue to move past first base.

           2. Overrunning bases

An additional rule includes players needing to make sure they are always connected to the base they are waiting at. If connection is lost with the base the player is out if the bowler has the ball.

           3. Good Balls- Not timed innings

There are a set number of good balls in each innings, instead of the usually timed game we are used too. Players are encouraged to still go for ‘No Balls’ and take them if they hit them as this would effectively give them an extra ball.

           Overall Experience

Natalie told us that she felt very privileged to have been selected and that it was a huge accolade to be playing alongside many players that she had looked up to and told us it was “The most memorable day ever!”.

The event was set up in a Round Robin style, ensuring at least three games throughout the day, depending on the number of teams entering.

Natalie told us the standard of rounders was really high, and she took so much away from the whole experience. She was able to take all of the new skills she had gained and pass them onto her team mates.

According to Natalie, the event was fantastic as both a player and a supporter. She said “It’s an opportunity to get together on a weekend and is something new to aim for.” After her team had been knocked out of the competition, she said that she couldn’t wait to get her pint and she enjoyed the rest of the day watching the remaining games.

An interview with… Umpires Andrew and Jane

Andrew and Jane are two wonderful MyRounders umpires that oversee games in various South Wales leagues. We chatted with them to find out their inspiration for taking on the umpire role.

How long have you been umpiring?

Andrew explained that he is relatively new to wearing the iconic orange jersey- having completed the umpire training only a few months ago, he recently started taking charge of games over the past few weeks and is enjoying the experience.

Jane is slightly more experienced and has been making those all important decisions for around a year.

What made you want to become an umpire?

Jane tells us that having played for a while she wanted to understand the more technical side of rules and decisions during matches, one of the benefits of umpiring was to be able to relay information back to her team, giving them clear explanations.

Andrew’s wife had started playing rounders over a year ago and was often talking about the game. Instead of just listening to all the news and gossip of the matches, Andrew decided to get involved and join himself. Andrew decided to get ahead of the game and gain a better understanding of the rules, he took on the umpire training and is now umpiring as well as playing.

Do you have a favourite venue to umpire?

Jane has a preference for outdoor venues and likes the Llanelli outdoor league.

Being new to umpiring, Andrew has mainly experienced Llanelli Leisure Centre and says he likes this venue as it is loud and enthusiastic!

Do you play for a MyRounders team?

Both umpires took up the bat before starting their umpire journey and still play.

What’s the best part about being an umpire?

Jane tells us that she isn’t able to play as much rounders as she would like to, so being an umpire enables her to still be part of the community but in an equally rewarding role.

What is the hardest part of being an umpire?

For Andrew, it is the fact that everyone has got an opinion, and it is not necessarily the same as the officials.

Jane says that although she is confident in her calls, and always officiates with fairness, it can be hard if you’re umpiring a very competitive game, and someone gets in your head.

Both also said that although it doesn’t make any difference to how you would call a game, it can be difficult if you are umpiring people you know.

How do you deal with conflict?

Both umpires agreed that conflict hasn’t really been an issue and is not something that they find difficult, providing they are fair. Jane tells us that she is always happy to explain her decisions and encourages players to come and ask her about anything that they are confused about. She says “I’d rather people ask me about decisions, than moan about it… I haven’t experienced conflict between teams, more competitiveness.”

Is there a phrase you find yourself saying in your sleep?

For Jane, it is the dreaded call for any batter, “Backwards hit, first base only!”

Would you recommend becoming an umpire?

Andrew feels that although umpiring isn’t for everyone, it would be beneficial if captains had the training to be able to help explain decisions to the rest of the team. Jane agreed and said she would recommend the umpire training.

           Any Top Tips?

Andrew says Don’t argue with the umpire!

Jane’s tip is, if there’s anything you’re not sure of, to ask the umpire.

We finished off by chatting generally about MyRounders. The main feeling was that it is an inviting, fair community where everyone is supportive and inclusive.

My First Game Day Experience with MyRounders

Every time I tell someone that I play rounders, I always get the same response, “I loved rounders at school!” This was exactly what I said to my friend, Jess, when she asked if I would like to join her team.

I have always loved sport and keeping fit, being a keen hockey and rugby player during my school days. Over the years I kept up my fitness through running, Pilates and even dabbled in sprint triathlons, thanks to my sister! But team sports have always been where my heart lies, so when I was offered the chance to join a newly formed rounders team, I jumped at it.

Jess, had set the team up with her family and her mum Lynne came up with the name, ‘Love is All Around Us.’ My first game was on July 3

2023, with the team making their debut the week before.

As I pulled into the Elba, in Gowerton on an overcast Monday evening, I was amazed by the amount of people gearing up to play rounders. I could feel the buzz of energy and excitement around and my heart felt like it had found its home at the thought of being part of a team again.

I was nervous as I made my way to the field to see the teams warming up. I only knew Jess on the team at that point so it I felt a bit like a new girl on my first day of school, searching for a face that I recognised. I was soon welcomed by the lovely Dawn, who I recognised from the WhatsApp group I had been added to. I was quickly introduced to the rest of the team and began throwing the ball to warm up. My catching skills were a bit rusty, but there was no pressure from the team at all, it was clear we were all there for the same thing, fun!

As we made our way to the pitches, the girls went over some of the rules with me. Jess informed the umpire that it was my first game, and as we were still a very newly formed team, they gave us lots of support and advice.

The fielding went in a bit of a blur, and I remember being really impressed with how well some of the opposition could hit the ball.

I was pleased that my hand eye coordination had stayed with me, and I could still hit the ball, and I even scored a rounder.

The opposition, a more experienced team, soon racked up the points, but it didn’t matter to us at all. They encouraged us as the game went along and a long-forgotten part of my brain soon woke up, getting back into tactics of the game and cheering for my fellow teammates.

The score at the end didn’t matter, I left the game on such a high and couldn’t wait for the next one.

We chatted with Captain, AnneMarie and her team to find out the meaning behind their team name, their favourite rounder positions and why they love rounders so much.

           The Story Behind the Name

The team was originally set up by AnneMarie after seeing an advert for MyRounders. She worked as a district nurse and asked her work colleagues if they were interested in joining. They had enough players for a team, and Making The Rounds was born. The team has evolved over time and now includes players from many professions.

           Favourite Rounders Position

Most players said they had a favourite position, which allowed them to play on their strengths. Justine, opting for deep fielding to make the most of her ‘bionic arm.’ Making The Rounds touched on bowling as a ‘marmite’ position, with some of the players saying it was their favourite position as they loved being ‘in the mix’ of everything, others said anywhere but bowling as they didn’t like the pressure.

           Earliest Rounders Memory

Rounders is a fond school memory for most. Sunny summer days with teachers wanting to make the most of the dry weather, taking the children out for a whole class game of rounders. Kelly’s earliest memory of playing rounders was being ten years old with a broken arm and everyone wanting her on their team to be able to whack the ball with the cast. (Health and Safety was a different ball game back then!)

The women's team also talked about the variations of balls used, tennis balls that could be launched for miles, or cricket balls that would come hurtling towards you, when a rounders ball couldn’t be found. The girls laughed at the memories of never having enough bats or flinging the bat behind you before you ran to first base.

           Any Previous Sporting Experience?

MyRounders has been the first experience of team sports for some of the team, and the first since school for some of the players who were sporty in school but hadn’t played many sports since. Rachel played rugby after leaving school and went quite far with it, but stopped after having children, she told us that rounders has been a great way to get back into sports as she can bring the children along.

The team talked fondly about the social side of being part of MyRounders and how family friendly it is. AnneMarie told us how she enjoys training, especially in the summer where everyone brings the kids to join in.

You are one rounder down on the last play of the game, what are your three words?

           Why did you join MyRounders?

Rounders is an outlet for many of the players, giving them time to have something to focus on and some much needed ‘me time’, especially after working 12 hour shifts, it is the ‘highlight of the week.’ Louise told us that when she was on maternity leave, her husband was going to rugby every Saturday and she wanted something for her, and this was her reason for starting.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

, a time to raise awareness, support those affected, and promote early detection. As a community of rounders players, we're all about staying active and healthy. So, let's use our platform to spread the word about this important cause.

           What does #FeelItOnTheFirst mean?

The hashtag encourages everyone to perform a self-check on the first day of every month. This simple act could save lives. By becoming familiar with your breasts and noticing any changes, you can detect potential issues early on.

Why is early detection so important?

According to the Breast Cancer Now charity, early detection significantly improves treatment outcomes. When breast cancer is caught in its early stages, the chances of successful treatment are much higher.

           Stats that matter:

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK:

Around 55,000 women and 400 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.

Screening programs are making a difference:

The UK's National Breast Screening Programme (NBSP) has helped to reduce the number of deaths from breast cancer.

There are many resources available to help people with breast cancer:

MyRounders' indoor rounders season came to a close in style on Friday, April 12th, with a sold-out presentation evening at the historic Patti Pavillion in Swansea. The venue, named after opera legend Adelina Patti, provided a fitting backdrop for a night of celebration and entertainment.

Guests were treated to a delicious spread by Jords Kitchen, ensuring everyone was well-fueled for the festivities. The evening truly came alive with the sounds of The Chip Shop Boys, the UK's #1 Rock & Pop Cover Band. Renowned for their high-energy performances, The Chip Shop Boys, as quoted by Radio 1's Scott Mills, are the "Mutha of all cover bands!" They undoubtedly had the crowd rocking until midnight.

Dazzle Events did a fantastic job of creating a party atmosphere, providing a dedicated dancefloor and fun props to keep the energy high throughout the night. On The Balloon added a touch of vibrancy with their balloon decorations, completing the celebratory ambience.

The presentation ceremony itself undoubtedly formed a highlight of the evening, recognizing the achievements of players throughout the indoor rounders season.

Overall, MyRounders' presentation evening at the Patti Pavillion was a resounding success. A sold-out crowd, delicious food, a phenomenal live band, and a fun atmosphere made for a night to remember.
